An incredible new documentary series about the natural world has been showing on BBC 1 for the past couple of months. The 10 part series, Life , narrated by Sir David Attenborough is soon to end meaning that it will soon be available on DVD.

In his usual gripping manner, Sir David Attenborough takes you to all corners of the world, looking at numerous different animals and their behaviours both on land and in the oceans.

Guy Fawkes night is here tomorrow, and while it can be one of the most exciting nights of the year, it can also be one of the saddest. Animals are not too fond of large fires and noisy fireworks.



Many people begin to build their bonfire a few weeks before they light it on November 5th, which means that the unlit bonfire quickly becomes a refuge for small animals.

Nearly 1,000 hectres of tropical jungle in the Heart of Borneo, is to be restored as an orangutan habitat, thanks to an agreement between WWF Malaysia and the State of Sabah.


The five year deal for this enormous orang-utan project is said to be part of a long-term scheme to enhance forest eco-systems and corridors within the Heart of Borneo.
