The Maharajas’ Express is operated by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). This exclusive train ride features 23 coaches for just 88 guests. The Maharajas’ Express takes you on a trip through Maharajas’ Express.

The coaches are grouped into different categories, including a Presidential Suite, Junior Suite, Deluxe Cabins, and regular suites. Some features of the Presidential Suites include a dining room, two bedrooms with a twin bed, and baths. It also has an LCD TV and a climate control system.

Golden Eagle Trans-Siberian Express, Russia 

Cost: $2,142 per night

The Trans-Siberian Express takes you on a luxury trip between Moscow and Vladivostok from east to west Russia. Operated by the Golden Eagle Luxury Train company, the Trans-Siberian Express costs $2,140 per night for the Imperial Suites. There are two other cabin categories, namely Gold Class and Silver Class. 

Some amenities on this luxury train include full air conditioning, audio and video entertainment, dedicated bars, and dining cars. Some suites also have a king-sized bed, dressing table, and power shower.

This exclusive train ride is only available for 36 people, and it takes guests on a  grand tour of Great Britain, which lasts for seven nights (8 days). 

There are five state-room cars on the Royal Scotsman, and each of these cars is further divided into 14 cabins, two double cabins, and 4 single State Cabins. All rooms have lower beds, a full-length wardrobe, air conditioning, ceiling fans, a private shower, and other luxury amenities. Also, there are dedicated cars for dining and open-deck observation car.

Only 30 guests can go on this exclusive train’s luxurious private staterooms. There are three executive business cars and two sleeper cars. Each stateroom on this train is fully furnished with single or double beds, an internal telephone, bathrobes, and other luxury amenities.

The Transnet Freight Rail company owns this exclusive luxury train. The company charges guests $1,217 per day/night on the Blue Train, which typically takes a  2-day luxurious trip between various locations in South Africa such as  Pretoria, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, and Nelspruit.

Accommodation is in three categories: Platinum, Gold, and Red. The train takes 152 guests, with 64 in economy class and 88 in first class. It offers luxury amenities like double beds, twin beds, show, cupboard, in-cabin safe, mirror, and personalized cabin steward service for all meals and drinks.
