Black bears have also been spotted climbing a number of things that aren’t trees! Whether they’re exploring a parked car, scaling a cabin in the woods, getting into a hot tub, or climbing the ladder on the back of an RV, it’s safe to say these fluffballs know what they’re doing.

A person driving in Florida started filming as they saw something peculiar begin to unfold right outside the passenger window. In the distance, we can see a dark figure on a sharp metal fence on an air force base.

As they get closer, a small black bear is traversing over the barbed wire like it’s nothing! With their thick skin and pads on their feet, it’s safe to assume this bear barely felt a thing!

12 miles to the east of Panama City is where you’ll find Tyndall Air Force Base. The Panama City region is a well-liked vacation spot because of its sand as white as snow and turquoise waterways.

Although Florida is no stranger to wild animals such as alligators and flamingos, black bears are starting to call Panama City home as well! Numerous bears have been spotted in residential neighborhoods, giving locals a fright.

Black bears are drawn to everything that smells, regardless of how pleasant the fragrance may be

Bears most often break into homes and sniff around neighborhoods for food, precisely because they gain so much from ingesting calorie-dense human food. Bears continuously want to reduce danger and increase rewards, just like people.

Did you know bears can smell a stick of gum up to 20 miles away? There are numerous videos showcasing black bears breaking into cars and going through trash bins just to get a bite to eat.

Bears are drawn to everything that smells, regardless of how pleasant the fragrance may be. To a hungry black bear, everything that smells edible. This includes garbage, compost piles, filthy diapers, empty takeaway containers, and beverage cans are edible to these animals.
