A Brief History of Astrology

Astrology is a lot older than you might think. It’s been around for thousands of years in many different cultures. However, the zodiac signs and symbols weren’t popularly used until the late 18th century. It truly gained popularity in the 20th century and beyond as mass media produced horoscopes. They were especially popular in newspapers.

Egyptians, as early as the 14th century BC, categorized astrological movements. About 36 Egyptian decans were produced on the tomb of Seti I, the second pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty of Egypt.

Before we dive further into a brief history of astrology, we should understand what the zodiac is. The zodiac is a belt of space extending 8° or 9° in celestial latitude. Within the zodiac are the orbital paths of the Moon and major planets. The first true depiction of zodiac symbols though emerged during the first half of the 1st millennium BC in Babylonian astronomy. During the 5th century BC, Babylonian astronomers divided the ecliptic into 12 equal “signs”. The signs each contained 30° of celestial longitude.

All About February 25 Zodiac

If you were born on February 25, you are a proud Pisces. This is the final astrological sign in the zodiac and has 330° to 360° of celestial longitude. Have you felt lucky recently? It may be because of the current astrological age. Interestingly, according to some astrologers, we are in the Age of Pisces. Others, however, believe we are still in the Age of Aquarius. Astrology is a lot of predicting and interpreting.

The Pisces symbol/zodiac sign has been around for a long time. Pisces are associated with Poseidon/Neptune, Aphrodite, Eros, Typhon, Vishnu, Inanna. According to one myth, Pisces is named after a fish or shark that Aphrodite and Eros transformed into while they tried to get away from the monster Typhon. In another version of this myth, Aphrodite and Eros ride away on a large fish, Pisces. These aren’t the only myths about Aphrodite and Pisces. For example, another myth tells the story of an important egg falling into the Euphrates River. A fish then rolls the egg to safety. Aphrodite hatched from the egg and as a gift placed the fish, her savior, into the night sky as a constellation.

Personality Traits

Not everyone born on February 25 has the same personality. Still, many February 25 Pisces share similar personality traits. Pisces are kind and gentle people with big hearts. This specific zodiac sign is known for its trusting nature and trustworthiness. They are ready to give everything to strangers and people they love.

Not only are Pisces gentle and kind, but they are also empathetic, sensitive, and emotional. They work well with others and try to solve problems as quickly as possible. Typically, this zodiac sign feels the emotions and troubles of others, sometimes bringing it onto themselves. Although there is nothing wrong with being sensitive or empathetic, these personality traits can turn into weaknesses quickly. Since Pisces are very trusting and caring, they can be easy to walk all over. Some February 25 Pisces don’t know when to say no. It’s important to take care of yourself.

Another large part of the February 25 zodiac sign’s personality is its creativity, passion, and independent nature. Although some Pisces are social butterflies, they also thrive alone. They are also creative and typically have many passions at the same time. It’s common to meet Pisces with multiple hobbies and projects happening at once.

Health Profile

Zodiac signs can tell you a lot more than just personality traits. Did you know there are health profiles for zodiac signs? The February 25 zodiac sign is prone to common health issues like stomach problems. This is likely caused by their tendency to feel a lot of emotions and take on the stress of others. Out of the 12 astrological signs, Pisces has the most fragile physical body. Apart from stomach issues, they can also suffer from feet and respiratory problems. Rest is very important! Pisces should sleep as much as needed to refresh their bodies and minds. However, just because you are born on February 25, doesn’t mean you’ll suffer from the health problems listed above.

Careers

Pisces have a lot of choices when it comes to their career paths. Since Pisces are very free-flowing people, they often change careers and jobs quickly. Pisces don’t like a lot of structure. They are independent people with creative minds that get bored with too much structure or long and dull days. One of the worst jobs for a February 25 Pisces is a desk job.

Pisces love a challenge. Every day should look very different. There are many careers where Pisces can help people, while also remaining creative. For example, Pisces thrive in marketing, social work, therapy, counseling, schools, and creative arts jobs. It’s common for Pisces to run their businesses, typically creating items. Creativity looks different for everyone. Some people are amazing visual artists, while others create sweet-smelling soaps that last a long time.

Social work, therapy, and counseling jobs are great for Pisces because they are challenging, different, and a way to help others. Pisces are great communicators and are empathetic. These personality traits aid them in helping children and adults with many problems. These jobs are also mentally exhausting though, so it’s good to take breaks.

Love Life/Compatibility

Not only are Pisces creative, warm, and kind, but they are also hopeless romantics! Pisces love romance and affection. They are great partners that know how to effectively communicate their feelings. However, while this is true, they aren’t compatible with every sign.

Some of the most compatible signs with a Pisces include Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, and Capricorn. Pisces and Taurus get along very well. They have chemistry and share many of the same interests, including their love for creativity. Cancer and Pisces are just as compatible. These two highly emotional, sensitive, and nurturing signs help each other take the load off. They can connect and others quickly. Both can remind each other they aren’t alone. Pisces and Scorpios are also very compatible and share many of the same traits. For example, they are both spiritual, independent, and honest. They can confide in each other, while also living their own lives.

Although Capricorns and Pisces are nearly opposites in every way, their differences work. Capricorns and Pisces are each other’s missing pieces. Capricorns are structured, while Pisces thrives on creative chaos.

Not all zodiac signs make great connections with Pisces. For example, Sagittarius and Pisces couples are rare because they are opposites. A Sagittarius is known for its brutal honesty and thick skin, while a Pisces is more emotional. Sagittarians don’t like to talk about their feelings, which is something Pisces prioritizes. Like Sagitarians and Pisces, Gemini and Pisces don’t get along. Geminis, like Sagitarians, are not as emotional. Their distance can create insecurity in a relationship.

Although some zodiac signs are more compatible than others with Pisces, this doesn’t mean a relationship will doom if they aren’t compatible. Relationships take a lot of hard work, time, and patience.
