Watch This Grizzly Bear Sheepishly Surrender When A Fearless Dog Stands Its Ground

Bears are known to be ferocious predators that can take down almost any animal they come across. Depending on the amount of food available, brown bears from various populations vary greatly in size. Mature males often weigh 300 to 860 pounds, and adult females typically weigh 205 to 455 pounds.

Brown bears mostly consume grasses, reeds, bulbs, and roots as food. They also consume fish, small animals, and insects like ants. They have developed into prominent predators in some places of large hoofed mammals, including moose, caribou, and elk calves.

A video is going viral on Tik Tok that shows an interesting interaction between a young grizzly bear and what appears to be a kangal pooch! The bear is attempting to approach the person filming when suddenly the canine appears.

The dog is in no way intimidated by this young apex predator. The normal Kangal Dog is a stock guard dog first and foremost, and as such, has a disposition that is characteristic of such dogs: vigilant, territorial, and protective of the domestic animals or the human family with whom it has formed a link. 

The Kangal Dog possesses the power, quickness, and bravery to identify and deal with threats to the herds of sheep and goats. Defying The Odds

Normally, when a brown bear is approached by another animal, they don’t hesitate to show its dominance. The young grizzly approached by this hound starts walking backward, retreating into the forest. 

At one point, the bear does lunge at the dog, but the Kangal isn’t having any of it! Nonetheless, if necessary, this dog breed will take a physical stance, attack, or both. They prefer to frighten predators. 

Although normally not aggressive toward people, kangals have an innate aversion to animals they’re unfamiliar with. They have a guarded demeanor towards outsiders yet are devoted and loving to their families.

Thankfully, it appears that neither the bear nor the dog was injured in this interaction! Take a look at just how intimidating the pooch is in the video below!
