The majority of all birds are migratory. What does this mean? It means that for a part of the year, birds are usually in one place and then migrate to another for another part. When it comes to hummingbirds, we will see a flurry of activity in the springtime. Hummingbirds will go from one place to another to mate and do other things. Many birds, including hummingbirds, like to go somewhere warmer for the winter. Depending on where you live, you will see these majestic birds sometime in the springtime, but sometimes you'll even see them in autumn. If you are lucky, you'll get to experience seeing hummingbirds buzz around. Just make sure you put out a hummingbird feeder. Click through the gallery above to find out when hummingbirds are said to emerge in every state. P.S. You may notice Hawaii is missing from the list and that's because there are no hummingbirds in Hawaii.
Hummingbirds All Year Long
