Anyone who has a cat will tell you that a cat spends a lot of its time sleeping. You must remember, however, that a cat is awake during the night as well, when it will go out to hunt small animals. Cats must sleep a lot to be able to conserve their energy for these hunting activities.

Some animals, like cats, have eyes that glow in the dark. It can be quite shocking to suddenly see the eyes of a cat at night, glowing at you, especially if it is a dark-colored cat so that you do not see the body of the cat at the same time!
