Where Do Scorpions Live?
The majority of scorpion species inhabit hot and arid environments, and numerous North American scorpion species can be found in Arizona, nearby regions of California, and some parts of New Mexico. Out of the approximately 70 species found in North America, only the bark scorpion, scientifically named Centruroides exilicauda, is known to be present in the United States.
Scorpions have been sighted in various countries including France, Monaco, Spain, Portugal, Italy, San Marino, Malta, Switzerland, Austria, Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, Russia (specifically in the North Caucasus), Ukraine (limited to Crimea), and the Balkan countries.
Interestingly, a group of scorpions introduced to southern England has been present since the 18th century.

What is the Lifecycle of a Scorpion?
The life cycle of scorpions is composed of three fundamental stages. The first stage, which is the egg stage, is an internal process that occurs within the mother scorpion’s body. The mother scorpion carries her offspring in her body until they are fully developed and ready to hatch.
Once they hatch, they enter the second stage, which is the nymph stage. In this stage, the baby scorpions resemble miniature versions of their parents but are not yet fully developed. During this stage, the scorpions will molt, shedding their outer layer several times, which is necessary for their growth and development.
This process can occur up to six times before the scorpions finally reach adulthood, which is the third and final stage of their life cycle.
