Fluffy Cows Sighting in Florida
As if animals cannot get any more adorable, we want to introduce you to fluffy cows! If you didn’t know these were a thing, we can assure you they very much are! These adorable mini fluffy cows above are Leo, Levi, and Duke. These fluffy animals live at the Happy Meadows Farms in Oviedo, Florida. Oviedo is a short 25-minute drive from Orlando.
During Fox35 David Martin’s time at the Happy Meadows Farm, he learned that these mini cows came from the Scottish Highlands.
But wait, it gets even better; you can book a photo shoot. Yes, a photoshoot! Fox35 Orlando reported that “Leo, Levi, and Duke are rather photogenic. Photographers, families, and the little ones have been making appointments at the farm to visit these adorable guys – and to take photos with them.”

Are Miniature Cows The Same As Regular Cows?

As Deere comically puts it, “good things come in small packages.” Deere further comments that miniature cows are the same as regular cattle; they are just bred to about a third of the size of regular cattle.
Miniature, though they may be, they can weigh a bunch! They are known to weigh between 500-800 pounds. So, you might not exactly be able to pick one up. However, their adorable stature stands between 36-48 inches in height, which is about the size of a toddler.
What’s the Size of a Regular Cow?
Cows (Bos taurus) of the genus Bos weigh anywhere from 700-1,760 pounds. They can also reach a height of 5-6 feet. So, yes there is quite a difference in size from a regular cow to a mini cow!
