Trips to the rocky intertidal zone can unveil an incredible array of marine creatures. Recently, in the remote sections of Cabrillo’s intertidal habitat, park biologists and volunteers stumbled upon an unexpected group of visitors. Juvenile Leopard Sharks (Triakis semifasciata) have been gathering in large numbers, exploring the shallow seagrass beds in search of crustaceans and mollusks.
