Laura grew up with two long-haired cats: Gately (named for the creator of the Heathcliff comics) and Lambchop. Laura has since learned never to sit on a cat's favorite piece of furniture, or her eyes will become itchy. She calls Oregon her home, but also has a special fondness for Southern Utah.
