Contrary to what Saturday morning cartoons depict, Tasmanian devils aren’t tornado-like in their movements. They are, however, scrappy and aggressive. They noises they make reflect that demeanor — snarls, snorts and even screaming sounds are how they fend off predators or are fighting over food.
