A remarkable incident occurred near Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, when a male lion attempted to ride in a 4×4 vehicle but wasn’t allowed inside. The lion jumped onto the spare tire at the rear of the SUV and held on as the car moved forward, with the rest of the pride following. The lion clung to the vehicle for at least a minute before it stopped.
