March is a season many people associate with spring. It’s the perfect time for spring break, beach days, and relaxation. However, while some states are great for your vacation, there are plenty of other states with terrible March weather.

These states are ones with scary natural disasters, bitterly cold days, high winds, or just nothing to do. If you’re looking for a place to have fun, it might be best to visit these states at a different point of the year.

Thankfully, not all states have bad weather throughout the year. In fact, there are quite a few with amazing weather all year round. If you’re looking for an impromptu vacation for spring break, or during any other time of the year, the states on that list are perfect.

The 10 states below are not on that list. While March isn’t the best time to visit, most of the states below are great to explore during the summer and fall months. And some of them can still be quite beautiful during the winter and spring months if you’re prepared for the bracing cold.

If you want to see the 10 states with the worst March weather, keep reading below.
