San Juan is the capital and largest city in Puerto Rico. If you live in the city or are just passing through, you may wonder what areas are dog friendly if you have a furry friend. Dog parks offer large spaces so your dog can run off its leash and get ample exercise. Before you plan a visit, you should make sure your dog is well-trained and fully vaccinated. A dog park also has rules, which are usually right outside the entrance of the off-leash section. Different off-leash parks have different rules, and a few common ones are:

  • No children in the dog park.
  • Food and alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the park.
  • No smoking.
  • No sick or in-heat dogs in the park.
  • Puppies under 4 months are not allowed
  • No aggressive dogs or behavior in the park

Let’s take a look at the 2 best dog parks in San Juan. Any dog will love a visit to these parks, letting them play in a new setting and make new friends.
