Angelsharks have a distinctive "batoid" shape that resembles a ray.
Angelsharks are bottom-dwelling sharks that can be found in depths up to 492 feet.
Athough they are classified as being critically endangered, Angelsharks are still caught by fishermen, both accidentally and on purpose.
Like other shark species Angelsharks give birth to live young.
