Mauzers might take a while to adapt to a new home as they tend to bond with one person, but once they are comfortable, they are affectionate and need plenty of attention.
Their grooming will depend on the type of coat they inherit, but it is typically medium-length, soft, fluffy fur that requires a good brush twice a week.
Mauzers are tough to train. While intelligent, they are stubborn and tend to nip when challenged.
