Hairless cats can be polarizing. People either find them adorable or hideous. You’re likely to fall into the former category if you’re a cat lover. The sphynx cat is the most recognizable hairless cat breed, but there are a few other hairless breeds as well.

A wide variety of names are suitable for a hairless kitty, from ironic names to endearing ones, and everywhere in between. Here are 72 perfectly fitting names for your hairless cat.

The Sphynx is generally a healthy cat who can live between 9 to 15 years.

Sphynx cats have smooth skin and lack fur. They will sometimes need some clothes to stay warm!

Egyptian-inspired names might be the go-to for sphynx cats since their namesake comes from the famous monument in Egypt. Although the sphynx cat’s original name is Canadian hairless, the “sphynx” moniker is well-attributed. Other breeds of hairless cats like the Donskoy cat have Russian origins, so some names below are suited for those breeds. Other names reference gods or goddesses.
