Typically, when we think of a nightmare, we imagine some monster chasing us. That always seems to be the apex of dreams that is just completely terrifying. Whether it is a bear, a person wielding a knife, or some monster like Godzilla. Regardless, the fear kicks in because what is chasing us is either larger or faster than us. And we know that eventually, it will catch up and hurt or kill us.

Well, sometimes people like to foolishly make a date with destiny and see what happens when they get close. In the case of this short YouTube video clip shown below, we are taken to Jay Prehistoric Pets. Jay shares a variety of videos on animals such as pythons, lions, alligators, and spiders. He shares his vision in the description of his channel below.

“Prehistoric Pets is a one-of-a-kind pet store in Fountain Valley, California specializing in exotic pets, such as snakes, lizards, and tortoises! Staffed by reptile enthusiasts, where you’ll find everything you need for your reptile or amphibian. We’d love for you to visit us at The Reptile Zoo to see these amazing creatures in person!”

A Date With Destiny

At the start of this video clip shown below, we see an enormous lizard. Well, enormous doesn’t cut. Because when we think of lizards, what comes to mind? Well, probably the little guys that hang out on your front porch and try their best to slither into your house before you shut the door. Some small lizards can weigh as little as 0.5 grams. But this large beast has no comparison to the small lizard mentioned above.

As this enormous Komodo dragon is climbing up on this tree limb, we can hear the sounds of his claws scratching into the bark as he climbs up further. Jay is seen behind, talking loudly. Which alerts this Komodo dragon to his presence, and he gets down to face him. This date with destiny could have turned out a lot worse.

Will Komodo Dragons Attack Humans?

While it’s not a common thing, komodo dragon attacks on people can happen. According to the National Library of Medicine, they have this to say about these Komodo dragon attacks.

“Although there are reports of multiple attacks on humans at Komodo National Park, Indonesia, reports of attacks in the United States are rare occurrences.”

Should attacks happen to a person, they can be known to be fatal. It is best to respect the strength of a Komodo dragon and not to tempt it in any way.
