Joke: What do you call a deer with no eyes?
Punchline: I have no idear.
Are Any Deers Actually Born With No Eyes?
While it is possible for a deer to be born without eyes because of genetic mutations or environmental factors that impact eye development in the embryo, it is extremely rare. More common than being born with no eyes, though still rare, is blindness in deer. Deer can go blind because of cataracts, retinal detachment, glaucoma, and infectious diseases like chronic wasting disease.
