Our Experience With Osiris Pet Tincture
Our experience with the Osiris Pet Tincture was almost universally positive. While we slightly prefer the company’s Beef Flavored Chews, the Pet Tincture has some benefits. Our tester dog had an injured leg and was directed by their veterinarian to stay off it for months to prevent further injury and surgery.
In the meantime, our dog continued to re-injure themselves and whimper in pain after an accidental sprint, jump, or another maneuver. Both the Pet Tincture and CBD Chews were very effective at relieving their pain. In the entire time they were using the Pet Tincture there was not a single whimper or indication of pain. Progress!
The Pet Tincture is particularly easy to apply. It is olive oil-based and can quickly and easily be added to any wet or dry dog food. The small bottle is compact, and the dropper worked well for precise application.
The only two real drawbacks are that the glass bottle is breakable if not carefully packed for travel, and the Pet Tincture was not regarded as a treat like the Beef Flavored Chews. We always prefer positive reinforcement training and treats and Chews make that much easier than the Pet Tincture, which our dog didn’t seem to notice.
We recommend the Pet Tincture for travel, and the Beef Flavored Chews for everything else. Both were equally effective at treating pain in our dog.
