This male Summer Tanager has an amazing red color all over his body. He stopped in perfect light just for a moment allowing me to capture the moment. This was shot in Costa Rica, on the Osa Peninsula, near Puerto Jimenez and Corcovado National Park. Summer tanagers are sexually dimorphic. Females, like this one, are yellowish-green and males are red.
