If you were alive and/or coherent in the summer of 2015, you likely recall the massive string of shark attacks that took place off the coast of the U.S. In fact, it was a record-breaking year for unprovoked shark attacks around the world — a whopping 98 in total.

It was the fact that shark attacks were in every morning’s headlines that moved Sister Pooh to make a video warning people to “stay outta the sharks’ house” back in July 2015. She posted the video, went into church, and the rest is history.

We caught up with Sister Pooh recently to find out more about what has happened since she posted the viral video 10 years ago. From TV show offers to being recognized regularly on the street, the video no-doubt changed her life. Get re-acquainted with this internet celebrity!
