December is a lot more than just Christmas. This last month of the Western year is a great month to reflect, spend time with family, and celebrate strange and unique holidays! Holidays are a lot of fun. Some stretch for the whole month, while others only run for a week or even just a day. You’ve likely noticed that there are whole days dedicated to strange things, like kissing cats or wearing two socks at the same time. This is no different in December. Interestingly, though, national days and weeks aren’t always established by the government. Instead, anyone can come up with a holiday and spread it around!
