The Golden State is the most productive state in the U.S., thanks to Hollywood, Silicon Valley, agriculture, and tourism. For example, the state’s GDP in 2022 was $3.6 trillion, making up 14.3% of the United State’s total economy. Based on those results, the Golden State was more productive than the United Kingdom and India. But, not every county in the state is wealthy.
