Florida is a beautiful state to travel through and discover. From breezy beach towns to bustling Disney World rides and attractions, from cowboy country to classic car shows and amusement rides at Old Town, the Sunshine State offers something for everyone. No matter the chosen town, travelers can be certain of a great vacation. A potential downer of any trip is the higher price of gasoline. Currently, the national average price for a gallon of gas is $3.84. The average in Florida today is $3.60. To keep gasoline expenses low and as stress-free as possible, consider one of these Florida towns that offers the cheapest gas.

The city of Bunnell is in the northeast corner of the state and is a great stand-alone destination. Travelers can stop and take in the views of the Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park. Another popular location within Bunnell is the Holden House Museum.

At a different station in Pensacola, the reported price is $3.19.

An animal lover’s paradise, Pensacola and the nearby areas provide plenty of sighting opportunities for a variety of species. Browse through the Science & Discovery Center of Northwest Florida or participate in a day tour at the Sunshine Riding Trails.

Of course, for those looking for animal encounters, there are opportunities for snorkeling, scuba diving, and sightseeing tours as well. Cheaper gas just might mean more miles down the road, leading up to number 6.
