Now is the perfect time to find the best pumpkin patches in Oklahoma! Fall has arrived, and the time for pumpkin-spice lattes and cozy fall-themed sweaters is here. Dust off the holiday decorations and get ready for the spooky season. What better way to spend your free time with loved ones than exploring pumpkin patches and on hay rides, drinking warm apple cider, and getting lost in a corn maze?

Let’s go on an epic adventure through some of Oklahoma’s best pumpkin patches and what makes them special!

1. P Bar Farms

P Bar Farms is a gorgeous farm run by Kim and Loren Liebscher. For 18 years, the duo has grown their farm from one of Oklahoma’s first corn mazes to a thriving business in agritourism.

Aside from picking the perfect pumpkin, you can get lost in the 1.5-mile corn maze. Each year, the design changes to keep guests guessing. Use the trivia questions to find your way out of the twists and turns throughout the field. Throughout October, guests can walk through a haunted corn maze at sunset.

A corn maze or maize maze is a maze cut out of a corn field. The first corn maze was in Annville, Pennsylvania. Corn mazes have become popular tourist attractions in North America.

P Bar Farms has much more to entertain. You can tour the farm in a hayride, play cornhole with loved ones, and a store for shopping. It’s not a fun-filled day without a petting zoo! P Bar Farms is home to chickens, goats, pigs, donkeys, and alpacas.

If you want to extend your stay and get a full farm-life experience, there is a two-bedroom farmhouse to rent.

2. Carmichael’s Pumpkin Patch

This is the perfect place for young ones. Carmichael’s Pumpkin Patch is located in Bixby, OK, and has ample photo opportunities with scarecrows and large bundles of pumpkins. Most pumpkin patches are on farmland, so expect to see a wonderful petting zoo. Carmichaels Pumpkin Patch is unique because your little ones have the opportunity to feed the animals.

The Orr Family Farm in Oklahoma City is a true fall treat. They first opened their doors in 2003. Three generations of the Orr family run the farm and are dedicated to providing their community with an educational and fun environment.
