But with all good things, there are also cons. The cost of living in Irvine is quite high. Irvine is located in Orange County and it is one of the wealthiest counties in California. It is also located between San Diego and Los Angeles, which means that all prices are more expensive in Irvine. There is also a lot of traffic. Southern California is known for its horrific traffic and Irvine is no different.

Irvine, like much of Southern California, experiences sunny weather most of the time. The winters are warmer than other parts of the state and country. The summers can get quite hot. The coldest month of the year is typically December, whereas the warmest month is August. Irvine also gets June Gloom, where the weather is gloomy and cloudy during the spring and early summer months. 

The temperatures in Irvine average between a low of 54 degrees Fahrenheit and a high of 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Record temperatures in Irvine have reached a high of 111 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 18 degrees Fahrenheit. Irvine also doesn’t get much rain, averaging 13 inches per year.

The city is famous for being an educational hub. The University of California at Irvine set up shop here and it has been attracting students in academics from all over the country. Irvine is also a hub for many industries and therefore job opportunities in Irvine have been abundant.

Irvine is also known for being in Southern California. Due to its proximity to both Los Angeles and San Diego counties, Irvine is a great place to live and visit, as the city is a hop and a skip away. The beach is also nearby, as well as Disneyland and other theme parks.
