Florida has more islands than any other state in the continental U.S., second only to Alaska. Shifting sands gather on sandbars above the water’s surface, forming exotic and tropical paradises. And Florida has over 4,500 that are at least ten acres or more. And we’ll be honest, most of them are worth a visit. But a handful of them are so stunning they deserve their own article.
