Are Weimaraners Inside Dogs or Outside Dogs?

However, if you are in a position to provide a lot of exercise or have the access to plenty of space, you can make it work for these high-energy hounds. Basically, if you can wear them out, you can cut down or reduce some bad behaviors that stem from lack of exercise. Tired pups will chew fewer items around the house and maybe give your neighbors ears a break. Crate training is highly encouraged for the early stages of ownership.

With all that being said, Weimaraners love to be close to their owners. They effectively act as shadows and will want to cuddle, lay on, and display affection until they fall asleep. If owners can keep them active and expend energy, they can definitely make great, supportive roomates.
