You might enjoy playing tag with your friends, but you probably wouldn’t want to play it with a huge lion who can run faster than you. That’s exactly what this man did in a video that he posted online! Check out the video below.

Check Out the Lion Playing Tag Below!

Playing tag with a lion

The man is Dean Schneider, a wildlife expert. As the founder of the Hakuna Mipaka Oasis in South Africa, he lives with lions and other animals. The video shows him running away from a lion who chases him like some tasty prey. The lion finally catches him and jumps on him, knocking him down with a legit-looking professional tackle, wrapping Dean up and all! The lion looks like he could be a star player in the NFL and take his team to the Super Bowl if he got the chance.

The video might look scary. However, the man is not in danger because he has a special relationship with the lions in his sanctuary. He thinks of himself as a part of the lion pride and loves them like family. He says that playing tag with them is a way of showing them respect and love, as well as stimulating their natural instincts.

No matter how fast you think you are, a lion will ALWAYS win a game of tag against a human.

Dean Schneider is a 28-year-old Swiss man who left his finance job to live with wild animals in Africa. He created the Hakuna Mipaka Oasis, which means “no limits” in Swahili, as a place where he can rescue, rehabilitate and care for animals who have been abused, neglected, or orphaned.

So, is it a good idea to play tag with a lion? Probably not! The only exception is if you are a wildlife expert; otherwise, you may find it to be the very last game of tag that you ever play on this earth; lions always win their games of tag against humans!

Lions in Love. A lion and a lioness cuddle.
