When we watch animal videos and hear the phrase “fight for survival,” we typically imagine something gruesome happening in Africa. Why Africa? Because this is a country where beautiful animals such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and wild dogs exist. When we think of a vicious fight for survival, we might imagine a buffalo herd running from a pride of lions. Or a pack of hyenas attacking some prey they have found. However, Africa isn’t always the land for the fight for survival.
The next video posted below takes us to the land of Australia. The YouTube channel “Mostly Nature” has 1.78 subscribers. The videos that they post are mostly, if not all, found in Australia. This video takes us to a large place in Australia called Tasmania. Tasmania is approximately 26,410 miles. It is listed as one of the largest islands in Australia.
Tasmanian Devil Cuteness
The video starts with us seeing Tasmanian devils that are lounging around one day. These animals are rightly named “Tasmanian” because they are located solely in Tasmania. At the start of this video, these animals look quite adorable, to say the very least. Cute and cuddly they may be. However, not so much when they are feeding or mating. We will get to that later.
At the start of the video, a mere five seconds in, we hear the sounds of them yawning. And it sounds almost like a young kitten. If we pause the video at 17 seconds, we see one of the Tasmanian devils yawning. If you pause the video, it is quite extraordinary how far he can open his mouth. It is said they can open their jaws 80 degrees!
At 26 seconds, we see someone throw down some food. And these Tasmanian devils go crazy! They are fiercely trampling over each other to get what they want.
Are Tasmanian Devils Aggressive To Humans?
At the start of the video, our answer to this question would probably be not. After all, they look quite timid and adorable. However, once the food enters, our minds might be changed, seeing how aggressive they are!
And the answer is that they are not aggressive towards humans. However, when they are feeding or mating, they can become aggressive.
