Snoopy is the world’s most iconic beagle, stealing hearts since his Peanuts debut in 1950. With his incredible imagination, sly humor, and above-average intelligence, this brainy pup has entertained fans for generations. And guess what? Snoopy’s official birthday is August 10! So mark your calendars, because we’ve got some awesome ideas to help you celebrate this famous pup!

Celebrate Snoopy’s birthday with a movie marathon! You can dive into the world of the Peanuts gang with any classic film or TV special, or go even deeper with the more Snoopy-centric adventures. Grab some popcorn and settle in for classics like He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown; It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown; Snoopy’s Getting Married, Charlie Brown; Snoopy: The Musical; Snoopy’s Reunion; and Snoopy Come Home!

2. Engage in Culture

Snoopy is definitely not your average dog. This cultured canine reads, writes, and even collects fine art! So, if you’re feeling inspired by Snoopy’s sophisticated pursuits, why not embark on your own cultural adventure? Explore a museum, discover a new artist, or if you’re feeling especially ambitious, tackle War and Peace, just like Snoopy!

3. Eat Some of Snoopy’s Favorite Snacks From Dog Bowls

4. Learn Something New

A special Renaissance pup, Snoopy is always embarking on a new adventure, from writing novels on his typewriter to playing tennis, practicing law, and playing jazz. So, to celebrate this famous pup, try learning something new!

Celebrate Snoopy’s birthday by baking and decorating cookies! Channel your artistic side with bone-shaped treats, or go all out and craft adorable Snoopy silhouettes.

6. Take Some Time to Daydream

Snoopy’s most iconic trait is his endless imagination. One moment he’s tangling with the Red Baron as the fearless World War I Flying Ace and the next he’s dominating the courtroom as a legal beagle. As you celebrate Snoopy’s birthday, why not channel your inner beagle and embark on some daydreams of your own?

7. Pamper Your Own Pup

Despite his countless adventures, Snoopy always returns to his best bud Charlie Brown. In honor of this iconic duo, shower your own pup with some extra love and TLC. After all, every dog deserves to feel as loved as Snoopy!

8. Volunteer at a Dog Shelter

Snoopy lives the good life with his red doghouse mansion, plenty of food, and endless adventures. But not all pups are quite as fortunate. To celebrate Snoopy’s birthday in a truly special way, why not volunteer at your local animal shelter? Spending time with adoptable dogs, donating supplies, or even adopting a furry friend of your own are wonderful ways to honor Snoopy and make a difference.

9. Take a Nap

Snoopy always prioritizes self-care — particularly through his love of naps. A true champion of relaxation, you’ll often find him snoozing on top of his red doghouse. So, to honor this ambitious pup, treat yourself to a nice nap of your own!

10. Make Yourself a Snoopy Journal

Channel your inner beagle bard and grab a notebook. Decorate the cover with Snoopy-themed doodles or stickers, and use your new journal to unleash your creativity, just like Snoopy!

11. Book a Private Plane Tour or Hot Air Balloon Ride

12. Listen to a Snoopy Jazz Mix and Dance

Snoopy is an expert saxophone player, and the Peanuts theme music is steeped in jazz. To celebrate Snoopy’s birthday, make a playlist of your favorite jazz tunes to listen to as you go about your day. And for a bit of extra fun, learn Snoopy’s iconic “happy dance”!

13. Fly a Kite

Create a Snoopy poster and gather your family and friends to play “Pin the Tail on Snoopy”. You could also craft a photo booth inspired by Snoopy’s iconic red doghouse — perfect for capturing your inner Flying Ace!
