Parks & Outdoor Spaces

There’s nothing a dog loves more than spending time outdoors with those they love. A dog-friendly city needs to have plenty of parks and outdoor spaces. This can include public parks, beaches, hiking trails, and any other outdoor spaces that allow our furry friends to explore.

Many pet parents want to bring their beloved pups along with them to local events or restaurants. It’s important to have a few options in a dog-friendly city. This can include dog-friendly bars and restaurants, outdoor events, and any regular dog and pet parent meet ups.

Dog Parks

Parks are a wonderful way for dogs to meet other canine friends! Dog parks offer your pup plenty of outdoor fun. They can also teach your dog valuable lessons on how to interact with other dogs! Enclosed dog parks are also one of the few places that allow your pup to run freely off-leash.

Walk-Friendly City

There is nothing better than a city that keeps active pedestrians in mind! Most dog parents take their pups on at least one walk per day. This is so much more enjoyable when the city is safe for pedestrians. Dog parents need a city with plenty of sidewalks, safe crossing zones, and clean streets.
