Countries all across the world differ greatly in landscape, culture, weather, size, and much more. Although some countries are much more similar than others, all have their own identity and certain aspects that make them unique. While the countries on this list are extremely different, they all have one thing in common. Keep reading to discover the seven amazing nine-letter countries in the world!

The second nine-letter country on this list is Singapore. Located in Southeast Asia, Singapore is one of the wealthiest countries in the world. The area is known for its stunning cities, amazing natural beauty, and world-class airport. Because Singapore is home to people from all across the world, the country has an incredibly diverse culture that is worth exploring and learning more about.

Another Asian country with nine letters is Indonesia. The country is made up of many small islands, and has been inhabited for over 1,000,000 years! Because of this, there are many different people groups represented in Indonesia. In fact, over 700 different languages are spoken in the country alone. Aside from its incredible diversity, Indonesia is known for being home to many active volcanoes and over 100 endangered animal species.

Although Lithuania is currently a fairly average-sized country, it was once the largest country in all of Europe. This began at the end of the 1500s and lasted until sections of the country broke off to form modern-day Ukraine and Belarus.

Nicaragua is so well preserved that it houses over seven percent of the biodiversity in the entire world! Aside from its natural appeal, the people in Nicaragua are known to be incredibly hospitable and kind to visitors and guests. A trip to this nine-letter country is one worth taking!

The stunning beaches and greenery of the country make it a dream trip for many people. Beyond the luxury resorts and villas of the country, Mauritius also houses impressive biodiversity. The country was home to the now-extinct dodo bird! Similar to many other African countries, the national language in Mauritius is English. This is due in part to the large volume of English-speaking visitors that flock to the beautiful island each year.

Regarded as one of the happiest places on earth, Costa Rica houses a wonderful, peaceful culture of kindness and virtue that keeps visitors coming back. The country is also incredibly biodiverse, housing over 500,000 different species of wildlife! One interesting fact about Costa Rica is that the country has no national army. Despite some civil wars, Costa Rica has managed to remain peaceful ever since disbanding its army in 1948. Although the country does not have an army, there is a national police force that still protects citizens.
