The largest city in Vermont is Burlington. Burlington is a mid-size city overall, with only 44,464 residents in total. The city sits along Lake Champlain on the western border of the state. It’s near the northern border of Vermont with Canada, so if you’re looking for an international vacation, you won’t have to go far from Burlington! The city is just over 15 square miles and bursting with charm.
