Traveling around the world is at an all-time high. People are wanting to experience life, not just wake up and do the same thing every day. There are many different cultures to experience and places to take pictures. Some of the most beautiful views can be seen in the Middle East. The Middle East is also home to some of the most amazing skylines and cityscapes in the world, thanks to all of the money there. It also is home to very religious countries that are deep in their beliefs. Before going, make sure you do research and know what’s accepted. It’s important to understand what’s legal and what isn’t before going. Once you do your research, these seven countries are perfect for exploring and feeling safe in.

Even though we were warned about going to Kuwait in 2005, this country is known for being safe, especially for those who are visiting. The crime rate overall is low for many people and is even lower for tourists. Even though the country is rich in oil, it still wants to be known as a place to visit. It’s rarely cold, so it might be the perfect place to go when the weather starts to come down a few degrees.

Egypt

A country with more history than most on this planet is Egypt. Thanks to all the history and beautiful pyramids, Egypt is already one of the most visited places. There are places you want to avoid, the Sinai Peninsula, the border with Libya, and the deep part of the Western Desert. Other than that, especially in Cairo, you’ll be safe. As mentioned, Cairo is one of the most visited places because of the history of the pyramids and other historically important areas. Egypt wants to keep this trend going and will protect those who visit.

Bahrain

A tiny island in the middle of the Persian Gulf is Bahrain, one of the safest countries in the world. The crime rate overall for the entire country is low. Its population is also very diverse compared to other countries in the Middle East. The climate of Bahrain makes it a perfect place to escape to, with countless beaches surrounding the area.

Saudi Arabia

For many years, those who visited Saudi Arabia did so for religious reasons. But lately, more and more people have begun going to the desert oasis. The country has taken a huge interest in becoming a place where athletes play, handing out billions and billions of dollars in contracts. Saudi Arabia is a proudly religious country, so make sure to respect their laws, even if you might not agree with them if you want to visit.

Ever since 2000, the United Arab Emirates, and Dubai specifically, have exploded in popularity. Dubai realized people love tall and amazing buildings. The city has built a reputation of incredible buildings and structures that have to be seen to believe. It’s also not a violent city or country at all. Like with the other countries on this list, if you go, it’s important to respect their laws and beliefs. As long as you do, you’ll be perfectly fine.

Oman

Not only is Oman one of the safest countries in the Middle East, it’s one of the safest in the world. That’s right. According to Business Insider, Oman is the fourth safest country in the world. It’s the oldest independent part of the Arab world and is incredibly welcoming to those visiting. The crime rate is almost nonexistent and the citizens who live there are proud of that. Oman is the perfect place to travel to if you’re looking for safety and fun.

Jordan

The final country you should consider traveling to is Jordan. The people of Jordan are incredibly kind and accepting of those traveling and visiting. Even the government of Jordan takes being safe seriously for tourists. The country has tons of police in areas known for being touristy, keeping the crime rate down compared to other parts.

As previously mentioned, it’s important to research what the laws of individual countries are. You should always look into what’s allowed and what isn’t, that way you don’t break any law on accident. As long as you’re respectful of the laws in these places, they’re very safe and welcoming.
