Meet the Terrifying Feathered Dinosaur Discovered in Antarctica

The giant tetrapod dinosaur Cryolophosaurus may initially resemble a terrifying T-rex, but this 21-foot predator was actually covered in feathers and possessed a distinctive bird-like crest. As the oldest known tetanuran, this fascinating creature roamed the earth approximately 188 to 194 million years ago during the Early Jurassic Period.
