Everyone loves puppies, but it’s all too easy to forget about the older dogs. They may not have that conventional cuteness that youth provides, but that doesn’t make the elder dogs any less adorable. Some of the most charming dogs are ones that have lived long lives, seen all types of challenges, and gained untold wisdom in the process. Naia

Naia may be one of the newer senior dog social media influencers out there (only a few thousand followers), but she makes up for it with pure style. A border collie mix, based in Ontario, Canada, Naia can be seen frolicking through forests, posing in tulip fields, and exploring the snow-covered streets. All of these adventures are captured in high-quality photographs, providing an added sheen to Naia’s already exciting adventures. She is thirteen years old. A quick look at Naia will show you that she is definitely still young at heart.

Tammy Faye Barker

It’s hard to argue that Tammy Faye Barker is one of the best names for a female dog possible. In truth, Ms. Barker is just one member of the Kardoggians, a social media dog pack that has racked up over 100,000 followers on Instagram. They have cute faces, spunky attitudes, and even take candid canine photographs. While previous members Chloe, Kimchi, and Cupid have since crossed the Rainbow Bridge, reigning queen Tammy Faye Barker still holds down the fort. While there is a senior star, Rose’s punchy pack includes several other pups as well. The account started with a focus on Sugar, who at one point lived with 14 other dogs. Sometimes, it can be hard to catch one of the more famous senior dog influencers before they cross the famed Rainbow Bridge. Unfortunately, that is the case with Ella, the Great Dane, a massive dog with just as big a heart. She became a hit thanks to her sad faces but fun adventures. Ella became such a beloved Instagram dog, in fact, that she won Germany’s Micro Petfluencer Award in 2019. Despite Ella’s passing, the page is still going strong.
