Chicago is one of the largest cities in the United States, and the city is home to well over 200 neighborhoods. There are 244 neighborhoods and 77 community areas in Chicago, Illinois. While the city is officially divided into community areas (that are often called neighborhoods interchangeably), the residents have identified each of the 244 neighborhoods listed here. Each neighborhood varies in size and culture, with many areas representing cultural hot spots around the city. Discover the 244 neighborhoods of Chicago below.
