1. South Carolina

If you go to South Carolina during the fall, you’ll find ideal temperatures for the season. While you can visit any city, one of the best options is Charleston, SC.  

Visiting Charleston, SC, in November will give you a high of 67 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 53. The cool, but not too cold, weather is perfect for exploring the city and enjoying outdoor patios. It’s a great place for history lovers, although there is plenty for everyone to do. 

Some places you won’t want to miss in Charleston are Middleton Place, Joe Riley Waterfront Park, and Fort Sumter National Monument. Middleton Place was a plantation in the 18^th and 19^th centuries and is a museum on the US National Register for Historic Places.
