Visiting a pumpkin patch during the fall is an essential activity to ring in the season. It’s a great way to pick a pumpkin while also having the opportunity to engage in other fun activities. Many pumpkin patches are located on farms that also offer corn mazes, food trucks, pony rides, petting zoos, and more. It’s also a great adventure that the whole family can enjoy! #1. BoBrook Farms

The pumpkin patch at BoBrook Farms is definitely not going to disappoint. BoBrook Farms is a family-owned and operated establishment that is located in Roland, AR. This farm has a lot to offer with their $10 admission. Once you’re inside, you get to enjoy hay rides, farm animals, and tons of different pumpkins to choose from. Keep in mind that during the weekdays, children’s field trips take first priority around the farm. While you can still visit the farm, you will have to wait until the field trips are finished with their activities before you can do so. So if you can wait until the weekend, then it might be worth it to visit then! Additionally, the farm hosts one food truck on Fridays and three food trucks on Saturdays and Sundays.

2. Motley’s Pumpkin Patch

If you’re located in central Arkansas, then you’re going to want to check out Motley’s Pumpkin Patch. Motley’s Farm, located in Little Rock, Arkansas, features pumpkins of every shape and size. The general admission is $12.50 and includes access to the tractor-drawn hayrides, pig races, farm zoo, and the kid’s play area. The petting zoo features adorable zoo animals such as goats, chickens, Daisy the pig, and Maggie the donkey. There is also a kid’s corn maze that will be sure to keep them entertained. The farm also has great food and drink options. Motley’s Snack Bar and Mike’s Grill has a pretty extensive menu filled with burgers, sandwiches, freshly baked cookies, and more.

3. Schaefers and Collins Pumpkin Patch

Those of you willing to drive out into the country should do yourself a favor and stop by Schaefers and Collins Pumpkin Patch. Located in Mayflower, this is a fabulous farm that offers not only pumpkins but also beautiful mums, both corn stalks and corn, straw, and carving kits. There are also tons of fun activities that kids will love such as hayrides, hay tunnels, an extra-large sandbox, teeter totters, and more. As you make your way around the farm, you’ll find that there are also plenty of props and settings for picture-perfect moments. Additionally, if you’re into learning, you’ll love checking out their learning center which features facts on different grains and vegetable seeds.

4. Peebles Farm Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

There’s nothing that quite compares to the autumn festival that takes place at Peebles Farm Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze, located in Augusta. This amazing farm boasts an incredible 60 acres of pumpkins to pick from as well as a 20-acre corn maze. However, that’s not all. This farm really takes it to the next level as it also features a pumpkin blaster where they give you five opportunities to hit a pumpkin out of a cannon. There’s also a paintball arcade, adorable fuzzy animals that you can pet, horse and wagon rides, and a fun playground for kids to run around in. With so much to offer visitors, it makes sense why this farm has been featured on the Exploring Arkansas program on AETN (Arkansas Educational Television Network).

5. Arkansas Frontier

Parents and individuals looking for an educational pumpkin-picking experience will love Arkansas Frontier. Unlike many other farms on our list, Arkansas Frontier is set up as an educational facility. They are equipped with all of the necessary educational tools to enlighten people on farm life and how early settlers lived on the American frontier. In addition to this, Arkansas Frontier has a wonderful U-Pick Pumpkin Patch available every October. The entire pumpkin-picking experience here is meant to be interactive for people of all ages. Outside of learning, the farm also offers hay rides around the property and a ​​farm-animals exhibit.

6. Roseberry Farms

Another fantastic central Arkansas pumpkin patch to check out is Roseberry Farms. Located in Benton, Roseberry Farms has something to offer everyone. The $8 admission grants you access to not only the pumpkin patch but a bunch of other fun activities. Once you’re here you can hop on a fun hay ride or choose to engage with the sweet farm animals. Also, if you’re looking for the perfect background for your next social media photo, then you’ll love Roseberry Farms as the photo opportunities are endless.

7. Hicks Family Farm

Located just 35 miles northeast of Little Rock between Cabot and Lonoke is Hicks Family Farm. If you’re looking for a fun way to spend your weekend, then this is the farm for you. Hicks Family Farm is open every Saturday and Sunday and offers a gorgeous pumpkin patch that you can explore. When you pay the general admission fee you gain access to the pumpkin patch, the fantastic corn maze, a zip line, mini golf, hay and pony rides, access to farm animals, and so much more! You will never grow bored when you visit this family-owned farm. As you hunt for your perfect pumpkin, you may start to get hungry, and Hicks Family Farm makes sure you never get famished thanks to their Wagon Wheel Cafe. Here you can order a burger, hot dogs, nachos, and more. You can also look forward to trying their Mom’s homemade pumpkin pie!

8. Pumpkin Hollow

Experience the best of the fall season at Pumpkin Hollow, located in Piggott, Arkansas. When you’re at this festive farm you can engage in a number of activities including pumpkin picking, pony rides, a mega slide, a corn maze, zip lining, an express train, and so much more. This is a great family-friendly farm that is sure to entertain everyone for hours. However, if you’re ready for something a little spooky check out the Horror in the Hollow attraction which will definitely get your adrenaline pumping. 9. Cox Berry Farm

The Cox Berry Farm is located on Redlick Mountain which means that you’ll get to enjoy some wonderful views while you’re here. At this farm, you can enjoy picking from a U-Pick pumpkin patch as well as already-picked fruits. Additionally, the farm also offers a walk-through trail with different fun characters along with a small tunnel and string maze. Also, if you’re looking for a cute photo opportunity, there are lots of cut-outs and displays around the property. These props make for a great silly photo opportunity to capture all of your memories.

10. McGarrah Farms Rivercrest Orchard

Get ready to make life-long memories at the McGarrah Farms Rivercrest Orchard located in Fayetteville. There are so many amazing adventures that can be had at this family-owned farm. For the price of admission, you can enjoy not only the pumpkin patch but also a fun corn maze, apple picking, and a gorgeous sunflower patch. While you’re at this farm, make sure that you don’t miss out on the bounce pillows, apple blasters, zip lines, bumper cars, and more. They feature a nine-acre corn maze, a pumpkin patch for pumpkin picking, farm animals, pony rides, and even pig races. Additionally, the photo opportunities here are practically never-ending.
