Hubb’s Farm is a pumpkin patch close to Fayetteville. It’s the best spot in Eastern North Carolina for autumnal entertainment. Hubb’s Farm provides themed weekend festivities in addition to its pumpkin patch.

Visit at night to enjoy the flashlight corn maze!  Adults can explore the antique festival and the entire family will love the duck derby!

Pa’s Kitchen offers a wide variety of delectable sweets. Our favorites are the fried pop-tarts, grape slushies, and of course, the funnel cake! We also suggest making reservations and buying tickets online.

With over 40 acres for guests to explore, the Vollmer Farm in Bunn is a great place to visit. There’s a giant pumpkin pillow, hayrides, and even an underground slide. With the price of admission, there are quite a few perks.

You’ll get free pie, a ride on the wagon, entry into the corn maze, and a go on the obstacle course. If you’re willing to pay extra, consider going gem mining, turkey shooting, or paddling. They offer fair-like food such as soda, nachos, and hot dogs as well.

3. Carrigan Farms

Next is a local beloved pumpkin patch that’s been running since 1975. Carrigan Farms in Mooresville is a one-stop shop. You can pick pumpkins off the vine to bring them home for decoration or to carve.

There’s also a petting zoo and a hayride to enjoy. If you go early enough in the season, there is a stunning field of sunflowers that make the perfect backdrop for a family photo. You do have to book a reservation for Carrigan Farms.

It’s suggested to show up about 15 minutes ahead of time. It’s cash-only and the entry fee is $10 per person.

4. Millstone Creek Orchards

Selfishly, Millstone Creek Orchards is one of our favorites! It’s a short drive from Asheboro and has everything you need for the ultimate autumn excursion. When visiting on Saturday and Sunday you will need a reservation to pick pumpkins.

They plant thousands of pumpkin seeds every year, so you’re bound to find the perfect one! They sell apple cider slushies and apple cider donuts that really put you in the seasonal spirit. On weekends in October, Millstone Creek Orchards has live music and encourages guests to bring a chair or blanket to take it all in.

6. Riverbend Farm

Next, we travel to Cabarrus County to enjoy a day at Riverbend Farm. This pumpkin patch has been open for decades, so they know how to give guests exactly what they’re looking for!
