Puppies get into the strangest things sometimes! In the short clip below, we get to see a pair of French Bulldog pups eating a vibrant snack. Today’s treat is none other than pink dragon fruit, sometimes known as pitaya, which is highly pigmented. That little fact is more than obvious on our devious doggy duo, as their otherwise white fur is now splotched all over. Continue scrolling on to see these mischievous canines make a mess!

Whether they’re puppies or adults, Frenchies make for amazing companions! These dogs may have a compact build, but they’re super compassionate and energetic to a fault. Oddly enough, this breed is rather quiet, preferring not to bark very often. However, they make up for this soft-spoken nature with their surprising intelligence and attention to detail. Did you know that, despite their small size, French Bulldogs often make incredible watchdogs? Generally, these alert pups will rush to their masters if they detect any visitors, expected or not.

Other fantastic traits this breed possesses include their laidback personality and eagerness to please. Sometimes considered a hardheaded dog, these tiny Bulldogs are prepared to prove that stereotype wrong. As long as a family is aware of a Frenchie’s needs and adapts accordingly, these adorable canines will truly shine when given any tasks. For example, as long as a French Bulldog sees training or work as a game, they’ll happily (and tirelessly) play along!

In short, yes! However, dogs ranging from French Bulldogs all the way to Saint Bernards can only safely eat some fruits. In addition to needing to choose only dog-friendly fruits, one must also pay attention to giving pups edible parts as well. For example, dogs absolutely love bananas, but care must be taken to prevent them from eating the less-than-tasty peels. Melons, such as watermelons and cantaloupe, can make a perfect summer snack for Fido. But as with anything with seeds and a tough rind, all of these portions must be removed before a dog can chow down without risk.
