No one likes to see an animal in distress. Something in our brains activates once we see a cat tail stuck in a door, a donkey that fell into a hole, or a horse that has found itself submerged in mud and can’t get out. We want to get in there and rescue the day! Be the modern-day heroes that save the day. How far would you go to save an animal from harm? Would you wrestle an anaconda? Let’s watch the wild video above!

Heroes Save Dog From Anaconda

As the video starts, we see three men on the shoreline who are peering into the water below. They see a massive green anaconda. And in its grip is a defenseless dog that this predator snatched.

According to the WWW, World Wide Fund for Nature, an anaconda “can easily overcome large prey, including small species of deer or even small crocodiles (caimans). It kills large mammals by coiling its body around them and suffocating them.”

Knowing the strength this anaconda had didn’t stop these heroes. They reach down, and all work together to pull this green anaconda out of the water. They could have allowed nature to take its course and eat this dog. However, it could be these guys knew the dog or just had a heart to want to see it live.

All three men yank the anaconda out of the water with great strength. Even still, we are amazed at the strength of this snake to hold on to its prey. Given the size of this anaconda, they had to pull it very far out on land as it stretched out.

They begin to whack the anaconda with a stick, and it finally uncoils and lets go of the dog. This is where we are amazed at just how long this snake is.

Where Do Snakes Live

Out of the four species of anacondas, the green anaconda (E. murinus) takes the lead in size. According to the United States Geological Survey, “Adults of this species can grow to over 25 feet in length. For its length, it is much heavier than other large constrictors.”

They can also weigh up to 500 pounds. We are making them easily labeled as the heaviest snakes in the world. And while we saw above from the WWW that these snakes can eat massive mammals, they can also eat pretty much anything they can snatch. And that includes defenseless little dogs
