The Concerning Decline of the Reindeer Population

Are you aware that there was a cull of the reindeer population on South Georgia between 2013-14? The whole population was killed. The small herd of circa 20 reindeer introduced in the late 19th century had grown to two herds of over 4,000 reindeer. They were having an adverse impact on the natural wildlife, fauna and flora. What Do Squid Eat? Their Diet Explained

Hi there, I’ve been creating a hand-drawn noir comic book called ‘Lobstertown Tales’ and I greatly appreciated your article on the squid diet as I’m working on a squid restaurant scene. The giant squid is a species of deep-ocean dwelling squid in the family Architeuthidae. The giant squid in deep ocean.

Mule Deer vs. White-Tail Deer

Just saw and photographed my first ever Mule Deer, not in Western Canada, as I’d expect from your article, but near Ottawa, in the Rideau Lakes Region of Ontario. Beautiful and majestic animal. I’m awed. — Brian W.
