It’s not every day that people get chased by animals. However, from time to time, it does happen. Usually, it is in the case of someone spooking an animal, entering their territory, or threatening them in some way. If we look at most animals and do the research, most animals will not be aggressive and chase after humans for no reason. However, if it is one of the reasons above, then yes, most animals will respond in kind.

Now, if we imagine being chased, we typically refer to our dreams. And usually, in our dreams, when we are being chased by an animal, it can sometimes be by a bear. Well, bears are no exception to the other animals we were referring to above. Hollywood has severely dramatized bears chasing after humans in the woods for no reason at all. And that’s just not the case. Bears won’t usually just start chasing after and attack a human.

Brown Bear Vs. Man

This next short TikTok video posted below takes us to some snowy slopes where a Romanian man is skiing. For some reason, at the start of this video, we see an enormous brown bear chasing this man! What reason is that you might ask? Well, we have no way of knowing for sure. Perhaps before the video started, the man got too close. Regardless, this brown bear is in full pursuit.

The man starts picking up speed. Otherwise, he would have been run over by this bear. It isn’t until 56 seconds that we finally see this enormous brown bear stop. It’s almost as if he is saying, “Whew buddy, I need a break.” But after his short break, he quickly picks back up again, and he continues his chase for the rest of this four-minute video!

Brown bears of the family Ursidae are one of eight species of bear in the world. They can reach anywhere from 300-860 pounds. They also reach an amazing height of 5-9.2 feet long. No wonder this man was scared. Having something almost nine feet tall chasing him would be enough to scare anyone.

These brown bears are in locations such as Asia, Eurasia, Europe, and North America. There are estimations that the majority of the brown bear population resides in Russia
