It would be pretty safe for us to say that the majority of people in this world do like animals. Perhaps not snakes and spiders; however, most people have a bond with some animal that they’ve grown to love. Whether that is puppies, cats, fish, bunny rabbits, or even horses, exciting trips to the local zoo, a safari, or even your local pet store are things that many people and families like to do in their free time.

However, every now and then, we meet someone who has an affinity to animals in the wild! We see just such a situation where a man enters some dark-looking swamp and shares with us seven different types of animals that he has found. And out of those eight animals, six of them he held in his hand or pet! Let’s take a look at where he was and what type of animals he came across.

Florida Everglades Animal Sightings

Everglades National Park Florida

Everglades National Park spans 1.5 million acres in Florida

The next video below takes us to the Florida Everglades National Park. This short YouTube clip was posted on the Fishingarrett YouTube page, where he has gained over 529,000 subscribers. We see from his channel that he has a wild animal enthusiast located in the great state of Florida. We see many video clips from this adventurous animal lover who has captured great footage of animals such as raccoons, alligators, geckos, toads, various snakes, pythons, and fish.

As he starts his journey through the Florida Everglades, he shares footage of the following animals that he has seen!

  1. American alligator
  2. Water snake
  3. Crocodile
  4. Cottonmouth snake
  5. Tokay geckos
  6. Everglades racer
  7. Burmese python
  8. Cane toad

At the start of the video, we see this guy right behind this long alligator. The second he gets close, the alligator swims off at enormous speeds, making a large splash. Comically, the guy says, “Geez, that was a bit dramatic.” We admire the calmness this guy had around this crocodile! Seemingly to have no fear!

Next, he finds a snake slithering in the swamp, and he quickly grabs it. The snake seemingly goes to bite him. And the guy remarks, “Just an abandoned water snake giving me a kiss.”

How Long Do Burmese Pythons Get?

Like many modern snakes, it’s hypothesized the Titanboa may have been a strong swimmer.

In this YouTube video clip shown below, we see one interaction where this guy finds a small Burmese python slithering around. We hear the guy continually talk about a 20-footer.

And this is because Burmese pythons can reach over 23 feet long and weigh up to 200 pounds! We again admire the fearlessness of this guy who wants to see a 20-foot python in the wild!
