Capricorn’s symbol is a mythological creature that’s both a goat and a fish. The astrological symbol of the sign demonstrates the sea goat, with half of it representing a fish and the other half representing a goat. This sign is characterized by a practical, determined nature. They may display inflexibility and can be quite ruthless when angered.

Aquarius is the water bearer, and the squiggly lines of this astrological sign represent the waves of moving water. Those born under this sign are known for being a creative force. Not only do they employ creativity, but they are also assertive. Due to their creative natures, they are often perceived as solitary, sometimes driven by their impulses.

Pisces refers to fishes and when you look at the astrological symbol, it looks like two fish swimming in opposite directions. In the center, each fish is bound to the other by a rope. Pisces is known for having an adventurous spirit with a big heart, always showing compassion for others. Those born under this sign may struggle with anxious thoughts and behaviors.

Aries is the ram, and the astrological symbol looks like a ram facing forward, its horns arching on either side of its face. This sign, like the ram, is powerful and confident. However, due to the bold nature of those born under this sign, they may find that they butt heads with others who hold different opinions.

Taurus is the bull, and the astrological symbol illustrates the face of a bull. The circle is the head and the two emerging lines at the top are the horns. Those born under this sign are persistent people who highly value loyalty. They may also be quite hard-headed and slow-moving.

Gemini refers to twins and the astrological symbol is the Roman numeral for the number two. Those who are born under this sign are known for their sociable nature and their sharp intellect. It may be their intellect that sometimes renders them indecisive.

Geminis are represented by the Twins, Castor, and Pollux. According to Greek and Roman mythology, the constellation Gemini was formed when the twin brothers wished to remain together forever.



Cancer is the crab and the astrological symbol for this sign looks like a six and a nine facing each other in a horizontal position. These symbols represent a crab’s claws. Those born under this sign are known for their loyalty and generosity. They like retreating into their shows and can get a bit crabby if pulled out prematurely.

Leo is the lion, and the astrological symbol is a simple lion drawing. Those born under this sign are known for being bold, loud, and proud. Their pride may sometimes lean too much toward arrogance, which can be off-putting for others.

Virgo is the maiden. The astrological symbol depicts an ‘m,’ which may point to the word maiden but other theories purport that it is a simplified drawing of a woman with her legs crossed. Those born under this sign are known for being great organizers and focused on their tasks. However, they may overdo it with their perfectionistic natures, which can cause them anxiety.

Libra points to the scales. The astrological symbol of this sign is a pair of scales, though some believe it is a setting sun. Those born under this sign are known for their clever minds and sociable natures. Their affinity for beauty could derail them into vain perspectives, however.

Scorpio is the scorpion, and the astrological symbol represents the scorpion with the stinger off to the bottom right. Those born under this sign have an indescribable magnetism to them. They love a good thrill and often show interest in morbid themes.

Sagittarius is the archer, and the astrological symbol is an arrow that has a line drawn through it. Those who are born under this sign have independent natures, a thirst for adventure, and imaginative perspectives. They can be impatient and aren’t always great at mincing their words.
