All About Monkeys: A Unit Plan for Kids!

Monkeys are highly intelligent mammals, found in diverse habitats across the world, from the jungles of South America to the mountains of Japan. They are social, curious animals that utilize their strong tails, flexible hands and curved feet to climb trees, find food and even play with each other!

In our five-day comprehensive unit plan, we explore the fascinating world of monkeys, from their omnivorous diet, tropical habitats, unique physical features and the specified traits that categorize them as mammals. Included in the unit plan are daily lesson plans, engaging activity worksheets, graphic organizers, writing prompts, comprehension questions and more! Students will also discover various species of monkeys as they become researchers, learning to collect and record fascinating facts, just like real scientists!
